Burnin'
Original U.S. pressing variation, does not have sheriff's badge promoting 'I Shot The Sheriff' printed on front cover.
Back cover has an upside down mirror image of the wood brand stamp ("BURNIN' The Wailers ") underneath the album credits, in the shoulder/chest area of the Marley silhouette. This is not seen on later US pressings.
Issued with 'pink rim' Island labels stating, "AVAILABLE FROM CAPITOL RECORDS". In 1973 island had discontinued the relationship with Capitol and a yellow label was introduced by 1974, see [r=2136148]
Pressed by [l313266] per stamped ✲ in runouts. Differs from the [l314605] pressing: [r=1411106]
Released in a gatefold jacket, with printed, color, heavy card stock, custom inner sleeve featuring information about each member of The Wailers, presented as 'classified' passport profiles.
